Is this a retreat for crafters only, or can others use the facility?
The facility was designed with crafters in mind where women gather to work on their own crafts, share ideas and learn from others.
How many people can attend?
The Red Door Retreat includes lodging for 8 people; there are 2 twin beds in each of the 4 bedrooms.
What is the minimum number of nights required to reserve a retreat at the Red Door Retreat?
A minimum of two nights per person is required to book a retreat at the Red Door Retreat.
What is the minimum number of overnight guests to reserve a retreat at the Red Door Retreat?
The Red Door Retreat has a six person rate, a seven person rate, and an eight person rate.
Are single day retreats available?
Yes, depending on availability. Contact the Red Door Retreat for details and pricing.
Is a deposit required?
A $25 per person, nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your reservation. A single check is preferred.
When is the balance due?
The balance of the reservation is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. A single check is preferred.
Since the retreat is unhosted, what do we do for meals?
With two fully equipped kitchens, you're free to bring the food of your choice. Some groups bring simple meals like frozen entrees while other choose to treat themselves by preparing their favorite recipe on site. How much time you spend in the kitchen is up to you. Those with an aversion to cooking may decide to eat out or order in. Delivery is available from several local eateries.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
While alcohol is not served, you are welcome to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy during your stay.
What is your policy about smoking or pets?
The Red Door Retreat is smoke-free, inside and out. Being sensitive to those with allergies, we ask that you leave your pets at home.
When can I check in and when do I need to leave?
We want you to have plenty of time to enjoy the Red Door Retreat. Check in and check out times are highly flexible and a topic of discussion upon making your reservation.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your own food, coffee (including Keurig K-cups), beverages, any tools and supplies you'll need for crafting, PJ's, comfy slippers, and a sense of excitement and readiness to have a good time.
